matemini b is not recognized my macmini m4 tahoe

has anyone had trouble with the disk utility recognizing the beelink minimate b with macmini m4. i am using
tahoe 26.1. i tested the beelink on another macbook and it recognized the dock and the ssd inside.
Is there a simple problem here?

Is the Mate device recognized under Device Manager > USB4/Thunderbolt devices?
What devices are connected to the other two Thunderbolt ports on your computer? Please disconnect them and try again.

Having the same issue here, I can see the Mate Mini in System information under Thunderbolt/USB4 devices with a link speed of 80Gb/s so it seems to be properly connected as a Thunderbolt 5 device, however it’s showing USB4 v2, but I can’t see the external device at all in disk utility. I have 2 Samsung SSD’s installed.

Please take a photo so we can see how the machine connects to the dock.

I’ve tried it with both connectors that came in the box, as well as a 3rd party usb4 cord. I’ve also disconnected all other devices completely. and yes it shows under device manager under Thunderbolt/USB4 device tree. I can’t seem to upload a screenshot as this site would accept anything larger than 120KB. But happy to send elsewhere.
