Hi everyone,
I’ve been enjoying tinkering with my mini PC setup and considering how cloud AI tools can add value, especially when working with audio processing, analytics, or smart automation tasks.
One set of tools I’ve come across is Azure Cognitive Services, Microsoft’s suite of AI APIs for tasks such as speech-to-text, language understanding, translation, and even vision or text analytics. I’m curious whether anyone in this community has tried using these kinds of cloud AI services in combination with a mini PC for tasks like:
- Transcribing recordings or voice commands
- Automating audio labeling/categorization
- Voice-based control of apps
- Real-time language translation or sentiment analysis
I’m especially interested in practical workflows, like how you send audio data to the cloud service, handle results locally on the mini PC, and any performance or API cost considerations. If you’ve used something similar (Azure or other cloud AI services) with your mini PC for smart audio/text applications, would love to hear your approach and tips.
Looking forward to learning from your experiences.
