I received my GTR9 2 weeks ago, did a clean install and just getting acquainted with the product, while we wait for proper NIC drivers, that stops the PC from crashing.
I enabled Hibernation in windows 11 power options (as it comes disabled by default), but annoyingly the PC turns on when mouse is activated often due to accidental vibration from the table it rests on. I disabled that feature in the Device Manager.
More importantly I can also feel the GTR9 exhaust vents on the back, are warm to the touch when it’s in “Hibernation”.
Googling the issue, people mention that “Hibernation is actually Sleep mode in disguise” which means the PC is still turned on, but on a low power mode, hense why the GTR9 Pro feels warm to the touch when in “hibernation mode” True Hibernation would on the contrary shut the PC down completely, requiring a press on the Power button in order to start up again.
I truely think Sleep mode is one the most annoying and useless windows feature out there.
My question is, is it possible to activate true Hibernation with the GTR9 Pro?
