SER9 Pro - freeze and reboot under load

SER9 Pro (HX 370) 64GB/2TB
Bios: T407

My SER9 Pro froze and restarted while playing Battlefield 6 (about an hour).
I see this messages in Windows journal:

I didn’t test BF6 for very long on previous BIOS versions. The gaming sessions were shorter. But I ran the Superposition test about 20 times in a row on Extreme and Normal settings and didn’t encounter any such problems, for example.

And another reboot occurred during BF6 gameplay, just 10 minutes in:

I am attaching a recording from the sensors made in HWiNFO64 right up to the moment of the reboot. The log can be conveniently viewed using GenericLogViewer for HWiNFO. For me temps looks fine. looks like BIOS/ACPI related issue for me.

I found similar issue on reddit -

I changed this setting and the problem has not reappeared yet. I will write here if the problem recurs.
I hope Beelink support will pay attention to this.

The problem with freezing and rebooting happened again while playing BF6. Changing the settings suggested on Reddit didn’t help.

It’s very disappointing to have such an unstable product at such a premium price (which I bought as a gift BTW).

Please change to a different power supply.

Yes, this is my email.

I don’t have a suitable replacement power supply unit available.
I have the latest drivers installed for my graphics card and chipset.
I tried rolling back to T405, but it didn’t help. BF6 still causes the system to reboot, either in the middle of a match or even a minute after launching the game, before the match has even started. The problem is not constant - I can play for an hour and everything will be OK.

You can try adjusting the refresh rate of the machine to the frequency you need.

Then please try the following solutions:

①Check the cooling system: Ensure that the fans inside the PC are functioning properly. Make sure they are spinning freely and not obstructed. If the fan is not spinning , it need to be replaced.

②Adjust power settings: Adjust the power settings on your PC to optimize performance and reduce heat generation. Lowering the maximum processor state or using power-saving modes can help.

Go to control panel —power option—change to High performance— change plan setting—advanced setting —processor power management— change both 100% to 99% , click save.

Refresh rate for BF6 is set to 60.

1) Fan is spinning
2) But heat is below 80c AVG under load on CPU and GPU. Which component is overheating based on Windows messages (The ACPI thermal zone _TZ.TZ01)?

Please check my hwinfo log, it has termal sensors redings untill it shut down.

Am I correct in understanding that this is normal and that this behavior is inherent in the design?
So, under high load, a mini PC may unexpectedly shut down and lead to data loss…

If the average temperature of the CPU and GPU under full load is below 80°C, the machine is not overheating.

However, under high load, the SER9 Pro HX 370 mini PC may unexpectedly shut down, resulting in data loss. This is not normal. We recommend that you send the machine back to China for repair. Please contact: support-pc@bee-link.com
