My Beelink GTi15 Ultra and the docking station arrived in December 2025, I bought a new XFX RX 9070XT, and added a 2TB SSD to the dock. While the machine is impressive, I’ve been having consistent issues since day one. Symptoms are as follows: Freezing: The system freezes, sound loops, picture is still there, but everything is unresponsive. The only thing I can do is to hold the power button for 10 seconds and let it restart. Post-Freezing issues: After a freeze like this, most of the time there will be problems after the initial restart: Most of the USB ports are down, fingerprint scanner is not registered (in device manager it displays as a bar-code reader). Only another restart will fix this. Black screen: The display goes black, sound either stops or is looping, and the PC is on while completely unresponsive. Needs a hard-reset to get out of it. Happens less often than freezing. Sometimes restarts on its own. Mouse disconnecting when gaming - randomly, the Wireless mouse will disconnect during games, and will need 10 or more seconds to reconnect. It works fine on another system - without any issues. No, I checked battery levels, and tried with a new battery, updated firmware and drivers, did several other things I found online - nothing. How often: Freezing - once every 1 or two hours most of the time. Sometimes more, but on a couple of occasions, it went for more than 16 hours (of intermittent use) without crashing. Today, it happened 4 times within 3 hours of intermittent use. Post-Freezing issues: Half the time after a freeze. When there’s more time between freezes, post-freezing issues are more likely to happen. Restarts/Black Screen: very rare, happens once a week on average. Mouse disconnecting: Sometimes happens every 2 minutes, sometimes goes hours without disconnecting. In which scenarios does this happen: Freezing: most of the time, during heavy GPU use (gaming, LLM inference). The primary game during which it crashes is M&B II: Bannerlord, but it happened several times in other games, and during everyday use (browser, explorer, file transfer). My observation is that it happens when there is a sudden increase in GPU load, but this isn’t always true. Happens just as often during gaming, as it does during LLM inference. Hasn’t happened during image generation yet. Restarts/Black Screen: Same as freezing. What have I tried: BIOS settings: TDP is set to 65W, but issues happen at both settings. System Management: primary display - IGFX, Intel Arc enabled in bios, disabled in device manager. PCI Gen4 and Gen3 - freezing still present. In addition, at PCI Gen4 and Gen3, system experiences non-fatal freezing for a few seconds on different occasions, like opening steam, and moving the cursor to the store page, for example. BIOS update - got the 203 bios update (latest from beelink download center for GTi15). Drivers - latest drivers from the beelink download center and default windows drivers don’t affect crash occurrence (crashes happen with both). GPU tweaks: worried about possible power issues/weird spikes, I tried undervolting the GPU - the freezes happen regardless. OS: I switched from windows 11 to linux briefly - and the freezes happened anyway, in the same conditions (GPU-usage spike, sometimes everyday use) Power plugs and sockets: Desperate, I asked ChatGPT for help, and in its infinite wisdom, it told me there might be electricity surges or spikes that destabilize the system. It advised switching the dock power supply to an entirely different socket. I did. It didn’t help at all. MemTest, CPU & GPU stress tests, and other common diagnostics - everything performs and functions fine. Freezes haven’t yet occurred during benchmarking or stress-testing. Enabling fan, cooling and temperature triggers in BIOS: tried several configurations, focusing on more aggressive cooling. It didn’t change anything related to freezing, so I switched everything back to default. GPU - tested it on another system, worked overnight without any issues. Overall, I’m completely stumped by this - I’d love if it’s something that I can fix at home, but at this point it seems that sending the unit back is the only way. I’ve already contacted support, and I’m waiting for an answer, but decided to post here as well, since I’ve spent so much time trying to figure it out, that I think it’s worthwhile to describe the problem, attempted solutions, and keep updating as Beelink deals with this - so that other people don’t waste as much time as I did. I intend to use it as my primary device/workstation and a remote server while away - and while I can tolerate these issues now, I dread losing progress while working. Has anyone else had these issues with GTi15? Has anything definitively fixed the problem?

Here are the SN of the MiniPC and the Dock.
When without the dock, the MiniPC worked fine for a few hours - without issues.

Additional observations:
Instability on PCIe Gen4 and Gen3 speeds. The issues with these (stuttering, hanging, temporary freezing, display flickering) were present once after booting in PCIe speed ‘Auto’. Nothing I did from the OS side would fix this. The system seems much more stable when PCIe speed Gen5 is selected.

Unfortunately, after some time - the fatal freeze still happens.

Hello Jane,

I tried updating the BIOS. It wasn’t like the instructions - as soon as I selected the USB from the boot list, it performed the flashing, GTi204 was on the screen. It was successful, so I rebooted. The BIOS still displays GTi203 version, but since my windows sign-in PIN and fingerprint got removed, I assume it must’ve done something.

Now, the freezes still happen, and more often - less than 10 minutes in game, it will freeze. Also, after freezing, the post-freezing issues (USB, fingerprint sensor not working until another restart) are always there, instead of half the time, like it was before.

Yesterday, after I removed, tested, then put the MiniPC back on the dock, I also reseated the GPU - and had only one freeze in a full day, which was an improvement. Now, it happens more often, and the machine is unusable for anything requiring GPU load (gaming, LLMs, rendering, image generation).

I tried another way to install the BIOS update, and it worked this time. For two whole days, I haven’t had a single crash or freeze, so for now, I think the problem is solved. Thank you for your help!
