Hello,
I am considering purchasing the Beelink GTi15 Ultra, and I plan to connect a OneXGPU2 eGPU directly to the USB-C port.
Before proceeding, I would like to ask in advance whether this configuration is expected to work.
The key points I would like to confirm are as follows:
As far as I understand, for an eGPU to function, the USB-C port must support Thunderbolt or PCIe tunneling, and USB4 alone is not always sufficient.
Could you please clarify whether the USB-C port on the GTi15 Ultra actually supports PCIe tunneling?
Are there any confirmed cases where an external GPU enclosure (such as OneXGPU2) works correctly when connected directly to the GTi15 Ultra via USB-C?
If connecting an eGPU via USB-C is supported, I would also like to know whether the GTi15 Ultra can receive system power via USB-C Power Delivery from the OneXGPU2 at the same time.
In other words, is it possible to use a single USB-C cable for both data (eGPU) and power, without requiring the separate DC power adapter?
I am aware that Beelink offers a dedicated EX Dock for external GPUs.
However, the configuration I am specifically interested in is direct USB-C connection to the OneXGPU2, rather than using the proprietary dock.
If there are any real-world user experiences with this setup, or if there are any known limitations, precautions, or restrictions, I would appreciate it if you could share that information.
Thank you.
