GTR9 fan spinning faster after monitor turns off

Hey,

When I haven’t touched my GTR9 for a while, and the monitor turns off. I often experience the fans starting to spin loudly, requiring a complete pc restart or enabling sleep mode, in order to get the PC back to normal spinning cycle that is more acceptable to my ears.
Are anyone else experiencing the same, and if so, have a solution to the issue?

I am running windows 11 on this device. Any help on the matter, is greatly appreciated

Beelink GTR9 Pro fans becoming loud after the monitor turns off is a reported issue tied to sleep/standby mode behavior.

When the system enters sleep (S0 Low Power Idle), the fan curve profile is not properly maintained, causing fans to run at full speed (100%) even when idle.
This results in excessive noise upon waking or while in sleep mode, despite low CPU temperatures.
Users have confirmed this occurs regardless of workload, and the fan remains loud until a full power cycle is performed.
The root cause is linked to BIOS/UEFI limitations in handling sleep states. The issue has been acknowledged by Beelink support, and the BIOS P110 update reportedly resolves the problem by improving Standby (S0) state support.

You can also try Softwares : HWMonitor、SpeedFan to optimize the fan .

Thanks Ian. I updated the bios to P110, and so fare it seems to have addressed the fan issue. Fingers crossed that will stay that way!
