I’d like to know if it’s possible to upgrade WiFi 6 of this device to WiFi 6E/7.
It seems M.2 card installed is a Intel AX101, which is using CNVio2.
So first question is if the M.2 slot on the ME Mini is CNVio2/USB only or if it does support pcie too ?
If not it means that it could only be upgraded to WiFi 6E using intel AX211/AX411 as it’s CNVio2 too (WiFi 7 cards are CNVio3).
Are AX211/AX411 actually supported at bios level ? If not, is there a bios update planned to add support for WiFi6E ?
I don’t want to use a WiFi 7 acces point for my NAS as my goal is to have something compact, which will not be the case if I have to add a WiFi access point …
Edit : will a nvme (M.2 M key) to M.2 E key adapter will allow me to use an intel BE200 (pcie) wifi 7 card ? In theory it should, but will it really work ? Bluetooth won’t be available as it’s usb on the BE200, but I don’t really care about bluetooth.
