I recently purchased a Beelink SER9 mini PC, and I’ve run into some frustrating issues right from the start.
When I first powered on the device, I set it up using a local account instead of a Microsoft account. Now I’m finding that the system won’t let me sign in with my Microsoft account - it seems like choosing a local account during initial setup has blocked me from switching to or adding my Microsoft account.
To make matters worse, I also experienced an issue where the local account itself got locked out. I wasn’t able to log in at all. Fortunately, I managed to resolve that particular problem by doing a hard restart using the power button, and after the reboot I was able to access the local account again.
