During startup (CachyOS) I get the message “0.237184 RDSEED32 is broken. Please update your firmware” on the GTR9 PRO What is the latest firmware I can install? I have P110 on it. I can see that there are some new entries under https://dr.bee-link.cn/?dir=uploads%2FGTR%2FGTR9-395%2FBIOS , but I’m not sure if they are only for the new Rev 2.2 version.

They’ll ask you for a photo of your serial number, I suggest you shout into the void instead, maybe you can use your thousand dollar computer to hold a door open like I do.

Already being discussed on these threads: RDSEED32 is broken, disabling the corresponding cpuid bit ; AMD vulnerability ; We were previously informed that the much needed BIOS updates required to resolve would be under development with your R&D team. Today’s response from CS-June seem to indicate a possible delivery by mid-May. Hopefully! 🙏

Hi everyone! I just noticed the release of the latest BIOS GTRP112 for the GTR9 Pro v1.0 . I updated successfuly my GTR9 Pro v1.0 with it and noticed the following updates for the AGESA™ (AMD Generic Encapsulated System Architecture) and CPU microcode (uCode) versions: (read all about it on my comment here ). ✅

Hi to everybody, i updated to the latest Bios GTR112 and the RDSEED32 Problem is solved now, but: The ACPI-issue, which was solved by the Bios GTR110, is back again!!! After my machine wake up from Standby after a longer time, the issue is still there again and my machine run with high er fan speed and don’throttle down. Do I need to enable the ACPI function in the BIOS to solve these issue?

Hi! Could you please remind us what exactly are the ACPI issues you are finding? Is there a thread about it for the GTR9 Pro? Are you referring to the CPU Power Sleep States support discussed here and the ability to put the GTR9 Pro into Sleep (Standby) power state? If so, I can confirme I just tested to put the GTR9 Pro to Sleep and it entered the Sleep (Standby S2) state and recovered from it without any issues. But yes, the FANs kept working all the way (but at low speed/RPM) and never stopped working. Not sure if this is an issue. Anyway, probably best to bring that discussion to that thread .

I know that the Fans always keep working at low speed; but if my machine wake up form idle, the Fans are starting with max speed and don’t throttle down! I must restart my machine to reset the fans to normal work. I think this is the the Standby (S0) - Low Power Idle state support, which was resolved by the GTR110 Bios! That’s it.

Achimd1 Hi , There Sorry for the problem . May I know when it wakes up from idle , will the fan spins for a long time . Or just a while ? If it`s just a while , it should be normal in such case.

Nothing worked, for me it’s only look like a workaround and not a solution for the new issue!
The latest Bios GTR112 just killed the solved ACPI solution from Bios P110!!!
Thats all.
If you not able to correct this issue by a new bios i wanna get a replacement with the 2.2 or higher version of the mainboard!
What do you think about your customers? I’m so worry about all the troubles from this machine from the beginning…
