SER5 PRO 5700u BIOS update and Chipset Drivers

Hello, i want to check if i need to update my BIOS or if the current version is fine (current version: SER5H512). I also need the manufacturer chipset drivers that came with the pc, i lost the default ones and installed the newer version which is 7.11.26.2142, i have a feeling they might be causing some stability issues. The SN:A57003BH30561, the model is: SER5 PRO-E-161TBEJ0W64PRO-DP/XB.

Beelink CS-June Hello, the driver package you linked doesn’t include chipset drivers. When i lanched it there was no option to install chipset drivers, do you have those seperately by any chance?

AMD Chipset Drivers: Please go to AMD website and download the auto-detect program.It will update some chipsets and video drivers automatically. It will identify and install appropriate drivers for their AMD hardware. The program works by scanning the user’s system to detect the installed AMD hardware components, such as graphics cards or processors. It then compares the detected hardware information with a database of AMD drivers and software versions.

Beelink CS-June Hello, but i don’t need the program to update my chipset drivers, as i’m looking for an older version, which for some reason is not included in the AMD tool, it just doesn’t offer such option. I’m looking specifically OEM configured chipset drivers.

Hello there，

We consulted the technicians and found that the AMD-PCI file contained in the driver files we previously provided might be the Chipset driver for the machine.

It is suggested that you give it a try by installing it.

And you can try entering safe mode, which allows you to roll back to the original driver version.

Beelink CS-June Hello, yes you’re correct, there is chipset drivers file in the folder, i have tried running the application hoping that it may override current chipset drivers, but after successful installation i checked the version of the driver in the device manager and it didn’t change, i guess that’ll be it for me now.

Generally, if the machine is functioning properly, you don’t need to update or roll back the driver version.

Beelink CS-June Hello, it’s just simply the case of an issue i’m struggling with since the last year. I’m still troubleshooting and trying many different methods to identify rendering issue on my pc. Still have no clue as to what’s causing it, my latest thought was that perhaps the chipset drivers could be the culprit here, to test that i wanted to roll back to the OEM-configured version for my machine, but AMD doesn’t allow for that unfortunately. Aftersales Beelink support offered me to ship my pc for repairs, but i became hesitant in their ability to fix this issue when i got a new SER5 mini pc, for backup while the main one would be shipped, and saw the same issue plaguing the new machine also. So before sending etheir of the pc back to China i’m trying to make sure that i have exhauested all possible avenues to identify the exact reason behind this issue. Thank you for understanding.

Beelink CS-June Hello, here’s the email adress: support-pc@bee-link.com i used. I stopped replying somwhere in early february, was and is still busy with real life and personal matters. I still haven’t even tested intalling linux on a new pc to see if text and pictures will be the same, maybe will be able get to it this weekend. Started to think it might be the faulty hardware that’s causing entire problem, but there’s zero to no evidence of that, everything is working fine in that regard: the SSD is fine, hdmi/dp ports are fine, etc. So when i have some spare time i go back to troubleshooting this issue, reading online what could be the cause, but seems to me i’m the only one with this issue, i still have no clue as to even the root cause, let alone how to fix it. So i cameback thinking i give idea about OEM-configured original chipset drivers a go, but amd for some reason doesn’t allow for that.
