Hello
I want to buy this little guy for my caravan.
I heard that it’s hard to get the wifi to work with Linux on some of these n100 devices.
I like Ubuntu and want to load the 24.04 LTS version onto it.
Are there any restrictions? or does everything work ok, bluetooth, wifi,…..?
Regards Stefan

stesj4 Linux and network card manufacturers have not released matching Linux drivers, so the wifi and bt functions may be incompatible and unusable. You can only install different Linux versions and driver versions to test which one is more compatible, but there is no guarantee that there is one will be compatible.

As a Linux user, you’re on your own to do the research, but that’s the “fun” of running Linux. To get you started with research I’m giving you a current link to firmware for which drivers exist. It may not be the easiest to peruse, but should give you indication of where to keep going. This way you can be “distro independent” as then you can see if the distro you want currently supports the devices you want to drive.

    Good Luck!
