Hi,

I would like to seek for assistance with connecting OneXGPU external GPU with the GTi14 Ultra via thunderbolt 4 USB -C adapter.

The onexGPU comes with it’s Power Supply Unit, and is already properly connected. According to the user manual it only works with USB-C TB4 connection with any miniPC/Laptop.

I have connected the OneXgpu to the TB4 adapter at the back of my beelink GTI14 Ultra 9. The E-GPU powers on and blue lights lit, however the fan doesn’t spin, the RGB lights doens’t turn on, and the E-GPU is not able to be recognized by the system.

I tried to use different USB-C cable, but it resulted with no difference. One of my cable is a wattage measuring one, and it shows there is a “PD” logo but no active wattage detected.

Is there anything i can do to make the E-GPU works? THanks!

Richy changed the title to GTI14/ EGPU (OnexGPU) not recognized .

It seems to me that GTi14 has a global problem with Thunderbolt 4. My portable monitor does not work via one type-c Thunderbolt 4 cable, although on another mini PC the same cable and monitor works fine. The manufacturer does not want to admit it and fix the problem.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue and get the OneXGPU external GPU to work:

    1. Check Driver and operating system.
      Operating System Updates:
Ensure that your GTi14 Ultra is running the latest version of its operating system. Sometimes, system updates contain patches for improved Thunderbolt 4 compatibility and external device recognition.
Check for Windows updates (if it’s a Windows - based system) or other relevant OS updates and install them.
      GPU Driver Installation:
Download and install the latest driver for the OneXGPU. The driver might not have been installed correctly during the initial setup. Visit the manufacturer’s website of the OneXGPU and look for the appropriate driver for your operating system.
Make sure the driver is compatible with Thunderbolt 4 connections and your specific GTi14 Ultra model.
    2. Thunderbolt 4 and USB - C Settings
USB - C Power Delivery (PD):
The fact that no active wattage is detected might indicate a problem with the Power Delivery negotiation. Some external GPUs require a certain level of power through the USB - C connection to function properly.
Try connecting the GTi14 Ultra to a different power source. Sometimes, insufficient power supply to the computer can affect the power delivery to the external GPU.
In the system settings, look for any options related to USB - C Power Delivery or Thunderbolt power management. There might be a setting that needs to be adjusted to enable proper power transfer to the external GPU.
    3. Physical Connections and Hardware Checks
      Connection Stability:
Re - examine the physical connections between the OneXGPU, the Thunderbolt 4 adapter, and the GTi14 Ultra. Ensure that the USB - C cable is firmly plugged in at both ends. A loose connection can lead to partial functionality or non - recognition of the external GPU.
Try wiggling the cable slightly (while the devices are powered on) to see if there are any intermittent connection issues. If the fan or lights flicker, it could indicate a problem with the cable or the port.
      External GPU Hardware:
Inspect the OneXGPU for any visible damage or loose components. Check the power supply connection to the GPU to make sure it’s secure. A loose power connection could prevent the fan and RGB lights from working.
If possible, try connecting the OneXGPU to another device that supports Thunderbolt 4 to see if it functions properly. This can help determine if the problem lies with the GPU itself or the connection to the GTi14 Ultra.

vitasonline About the thunderbolt port, we already test it, and sent you the video, it works fine with all-in-one cable.
So I think it is the cable compatibility problem.
