To be clear (to help others), go under Chipset, selecting PCH-IO Configuration.
Then change the State After G3 to the S0 State
Save and all should work as expected (but test it to make sure)
The confusion here is that I these power states are not quite “human readable”. E.g. S0 is powered on, and S5 is “off” but ready to turn on by the power button press. And G3 is probably a total power loss..
