Ser7 usb issue

Neither usb or usbc will not load my portable ssd. Was working fine. Works on phone and laptop. Phone will not now connect either. States not enough power. My powered external hard drive connects ok.

Hello there,
Here are some potential solutions:

Please clean the USB port with 75% alcohol
Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager—universal serial bus controller–USB hub—properties–power management—uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power”
Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply and other USB devices, then put the pin in the CMOS pinhole and press it for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes.

I have followed all your instructions and still have the problem. I’ve tried all 4 usb ports and the one usbc. I have also tried different cables.

Update or Reinstall Driver Programs
Update Drivers: Open “Device Manager”, expand “Universal Serial Bus controllers”, right-click on the corresponding USB controller and choose “Update Driver”. Follow the prompts to search for and install the latest driver programs.
Reinstall Drivers: In “Device Manager”, right-click on the relevant USB device and choose “Uninstall Device”. Then restart your computer, and the system will automatically reinstall the drivers.
2.Troubleshoot System and Other Settings
Run the Troubleshooter: Search for and open “Troubleshoot” in “Settings”, select “Hardware and Devices”, and then run the USB troubleshooter. Follow the instructions to let the system find and fix the problem.
Check System Files and Registry: Open Command Prompt as an administrator, type the command “sfc /scannow” and press Enter. Wait for the system to check and repair damaged system files. Open the Registry Editor (press Win + R, type “regedit” and press Enter), navigate to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR”, and make sure the “Start” value is set to 3. If it’s not, change it to 3.

Thanks for your detailed response.
I worked my way through all the steps including “scannow” which showed no issues. I navigated my way to the “USBSTOR” page but was unsure how to check for or change the setting to 3.
I have attached 2 photos.

I’ve summarised what’s happening.
Stopped recognising samsung ssd using usbc to usbc or usb to usbc. (Still works fine on laptop)
Tried several cables.
Samsung s21 ultra will not now connect properly. (As above works on laptop and have tried various cables)
Reads a flash usb
Reads a SSD and 31/2 drive in caddy using usba? Connector. (Although my bluetooth dongle used for mouse and keyboard does not work when drive plugged in)
Have checked and run all tests you asked
Question
Could the usb and usbc suddenly not now be getting enough power?
I assume if I by a powered usb hub that may solve the problem of not being able to read the Samsung ssd!
Still doesn’t solve the issue with the usb and usbc ports
