EQ14 Memory & Storage upgarde

Hi,

I recently purchased the EQ14 Mini PCwhich currently has 16G memory and 500GB SSD and was looking to increase both. Although I now realise that I may have misread the the upgrading capacity of the EQ14 and it seems that 16G is the maximum. Is this correct?

However it does say that the storage can be upgraded to 4TB (2×2TB). I’m only wanting to add 1TB but have now seen that the second PCEi 3 slot is x1 and is incompatible with SATA3 SSD. I am now unsure what is the correct SSD is to purchase that will be compatible with the EQ14. I may be misunderstanding something here but would appreciate any guidance and advice.

Hello Paul,
The EQ14 only support the maximum of 16GB RAM and 2TB SSD for one SSD slot.
One SSD slot is for M.2 PCle 3.0 ×4(NVMe/SATA3) SSD and another SSD slot is for M.2 PCle 3.0 ×1(NVMe) SSD.

khuntim The second hard drive slot of EQ14 is M.2 PCle 3.0 ×1 (NVMe) SSD, but it also supports PCIe 3.0 X 4 SSD, but the speed is only 3.0 ×1
By bootable slot, you mean the default pre-installed hard drive slot, right? It supports PCle 3.0 ×4
As for brands, you can consider Crucial, Samsung, Kingston, etc.

You can check through the specification sheet. Slot 1 is the System disk and slot 2 is the Storage disk.

Can confirm that EQ14 can run 32GB stick:

Also I have two ADATA LEGEND 800 NVME drives with 2TB capacity in linux raid1 and system can boot from any of them easily.

support13 I meant as far as the memory stick requirements being the same? I have since initialized and installed a 1RB NVME card in slot two, then Installed Linux Mint on it and am booting up to that slot by default set in the Bios. I then reinserted the original NVME card in slot One with the original windows on it, and have that set so I can hit F7 on bootup and select that to operate as well. Thus I can now switch to either mem stick as the bootup default in the Bios.

Is there any chance of getting a new card for bluetooth that has version 5.4 on it?

The first slot is best for the system disk, and the second slot for the storage disk. The system disk can be installed with dual systems.

Besides, this machine does not support Bluetooth 5.4

I. realize that currently it does not, as the specs say it is version 5.2, however, it is on a replaceable card that can be upgraded and so I was wondering if you will be supplying and upgrade option, either the Bluetooth card or a firmware update.

By the way, I am currently booting off either slot one or two, by choosing the f7 option, but by current default boot disks is slot two. and the original slot one windows NVMe card still resides in slot One.

Yes, EQ14 Support Bluetooth 5.2.
Please send us a picture of SN on the bottom of the PC.
Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.
