I am a user of the Beelink GTi12 Ultra (Intel Core i9-12900HK) and I am currently experiencing significant thermal throttling issues. When running demanding tasks and games, the CPU temperatures quickly reach 100°C, causing performance drops and stuttering.
I would like to clarify a few technical points to resolve this:
Thermal Interface Material: Could you please confirm if this specific model (GTi12 Ultra with i9-12900HK) uses Liquid Metal or standard thermal paste between the CPU and the heatsink?
Repasting Recommendation: In case it uses standard thermal paste, do you recommend a repaste to improve temperatures? Also, if I open the device for cleaning and repasting, will it void my warranty?
Fan Profile: Is there a recommended BIOS update or software to better manage the fan curves for high-performance scenarios?
I am currently using an external GPU (RTX 5070 Ti) via the EX Dock, but the CPU temperatures remain a bottleneck for my system’s stability.
I look forward to your guidance on how to fix these thermal issues.
Best regards,
