hi, does your GPU docking station support RTX 50s cards? If yes, up to what model does it support?

I have this same question as well. I know 5090 can use up to 575 so theoretically the psu could handle it. The question is how much power is required/used by the actual pci-e slot onboard the dock itself?

The PCIe 4.0 ×8 slot used in the docking station has a theoretical maximum power delivery capacity of about 75W. But in actual use, the power consumption of the slot is much lower than this value, usually only a few watts to tens of watts. This is because the PCIe slot mainly provides power for the signal transmission and basic operation of the graphics card, rather than being the main power supply for the graphics card.

TechKnight713 did the RTX 5090 work for you via the EX Pro docking station? Thinking of purchasing one 5090 soon. Presume you’ve got the GTi 14 with Ultra 9 185H?

TechKnight713 Sorry to hear you’ve experienced those issues and really hope Beelink are able to get a new BIOS version to detect the proper PCEe version, although I think the earlier versions of the docking station “EX” not the “EX Pro” are locked to PCIe 4.0. And congrats on your new 5080! The 5090 seems so overrated and super overpriced at the moment, not worth it. Happy to hear it at least works now after manually selecting the PCIe version.

Topaz Unfortunately at the time I couldn’t get my hands on a 5090. I went with the MSI Vanguard 5080 instead.

I had some issue initially but it was due to the bios version in my GTi14 Ultra 9 185H. I have an early model that can only support bios T100-T105. There is an issue with a lot of motherboards with PCIe learning and the 5000 series cards. During the boot process when the system tries to detect the PCIe version, and because of that, it gets locked to a lower version. This causes severe stuttering in the system. Unfortunately the T105 version of the bios does not correct the issue for the model that I have.

I had to go into the PCIe config and manually lock all PCIe lanes to Gen 4. Since I’ve done this I’ve had zero issues with my setup. I’m not sure which BIOS version corrects this for the GTi14 but I know it’s not one that’s compatible with my unit(T100-T105).
