I’ve got a dual boot between Linux Mint 22 and Windows 11. I have:
- BIOS Version HPT.8xx.SER8.V029.P8COM )C15.08.Link
- Quiet Boot is disabled
- Fast Boot is disabled
- Secure Boot is disabled
I am using headphones plugged into either the front or rear 3.5mm jacks of the SER8. Both jacks work great under Windows 11. Neither work at all under Linux Mint.

Based on another recent thread I’m wondering if this is a BIOS issue?
