Hi all,
After updating the BIOS of my Beelink SER8 Mini PC to version v29, I noticed that my audio devices no longer work when connected to the headphone jack. The audio card is detected, and I can see the “Speakers” or “Line-out” options available, but no sound is coming through.
Strangely, when I boot into Windows, everything works fine if I install the appropriate drivers. From what I understand, Linux generally has good compatibility with AMD hardware, so I’m not sure if this is a BIOS or driver issue.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Disabled Secure Boot in BIOS.
Verified that the audio card is enabled in the BIOS.
Reinstalled the audio drivers on Linux, but the issue persists.
Since everything was working fine before the BIOS update, I’m wondering if this could be a regression or a known issue with v29. Can I expect this to be addressed in future BIOS releases?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
