Crashes and white screen

Hello,
Big problem with my SER8, it worked perfectly for 1 month and then it became a nightmare, it crashes at least once a day, my two screens turn white and I have to reboot the PC. I still have the same error in the Windows 11 log.
“The description for event ID 1035 in source amduw23g cannot be found. The component that triggered this event is not installed on the local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer. The specified file cannot be found.”
I have already booted in safe mode, uninstalled the Radeon drivers, and reinstalled the original driver that was installed on the PC. I stopped the Windows updates, but nothing works; it continues to crash.
Unfortunately, I will have to send it back unless this error is known and Beelink finds a solution.

Don’t worry, the PC has one-year warranty. Please send us a picture of SN on the bottom of the PC and a picture of the purchase record.

Here are some potential solutions：

②Please take out one RAM and leave the other one in it to test if the RAM is defective or not. You can also use Memtest software to test the RAM.
③Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page, Here is a link on how to check the BIOS version：https://url.bee-link.cn/EqEu
After you provide the current BIOS version, we can determine which one your BIOS is suitable for?
④Please change another power supply.
⑤Update graphics driver: Please uninstall the graphic driver in the device manager and install the new one. Here is the driver source :[https://dr.bee-link.cn/index.php?dir=] , click the item model , then you can find the related driver.

I’m not a Beelink tech. But you might try opening a command prompt as administrator and type this command SFC /scannow and let it run. That will let windows scan for corrupt files and repair them.

Thank you, but I have already used this command without any correction. I also reinstalled an older backup image of Windows, but the graphics driver crash issue keeps coming back systematically.

Thank you, but I have already used this command trick, I reinstalled backup versions of Windows (via Aomei) and nothing changes, I still randomly have the graphics driver crash. After the crash, the PC is functional but I no longer have display, I put the PC in hibernation mode, turn it back on and I find myself with the default Windows driver for a standard card, I just need to reinstall the AMD driver and it’s good. Really incomprehensible.

I had ordered 48GB of RAM because the PC was great! Since the issue with the graphics driver amduw23g, I put back the original 24GB, I tested all the RAM with Memtest86 (4 passes), no errors found. I don’t feel like it’s the RAM…
I remind you that both screens are white, but Windows continues to work, I can’t do anything without a screen! If I put the PC in sleep mode and turn it back on, it works except that I’m on the standard Windows graphics card, I need to reinstall the drivers (Adrenaline). Sad

Not yet, it will take me 1 day to reconfigure everything correctly, hence the backups via Aomei!
If I have to reinstall Windows every month, that’s not possible. I work in IT, I’m not too much of a newbie, I’ve never had a problem like this on a mini PC.

Please try some solutions here :
1.CLR CMOS
First, please unplug the power supply and HDMI cable.
Secondly, Please hit the “CLR CMOS” button/hole for about 10 seconds.
For some models the CMOS hole could be in the Audio port .
Please wait until 10 minutes later (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT),
Then plug the power supply and HDMI cable back in, turn on the PC again,
once turn on the PC, you will need more than one minute to wait for the PC to enter the system.
See if it works. Please try few more times.

Hello, I have reinstalled Windows 11, and I still have the same problem randomly. Still the same message regarding ‘amduw23g cannot be found’
The PC doesn’t crash, just the 2 screens turn white.
The trick is, I put it into hibernation, restart the PC, and I have to reinstall the Radeon drivers.
I’ve really tried everything, 3 reinstalls of Windows 11, 4 BIOS resets, etc….
I’m starting to consider unfortunately sending the PC back, which is quite powerful, really sad.

After days of testing, the solution is to keep the drivers provided by Beelink (24.8.1
32.0.11037.4004 of 23/08/2024)
If I install new Adrenalin drivers, I systematically get a graphics driver crash, but the PC is still functional, just without a screen!
I have the same problem with a new EQR 6600h!
I don’t understand why Beelink is not aware of this bug that prevents updating Adrenalin. I should clarify that I only install the drivers and not the Adrenalin software.
There must be a design issue, or else I am cursed ;o)
I will try with another brand to see if the problem is also present.

Thank you for your support, but I have returned the SER8 :o( too many issues, and I am not spending €600 on a PC just to spend my days troubleshooting. Perhaps there was a problem with the model I received.. I am hesitant to order another SER8.
