I followed one of the suggestions to other customers with my same GT King and managed to update the firmware using https://url.bee-link.cn/iZTl .
The problem is that the box is seen by certain apps (like itvx uk live player) as a rooted box which cannot be used to stream live tv with their app with.
I also had another streaming app complaining about the same thing, Though I found an alternative for that one.
I used a reputable magisk app which did the job of unrooting the box, but then it found, after reboot, a new root not created by magisk itself, which magisk app questioned.
I begin to think GTKing wants to be root by default, and so when it boots it becomes root and there is no unrooting method that may work.
Am i right in this assessment or is there a way to unroot the device.
I appreciate an answer from the beelink support team.
