The gti12 itself works fine without the dock (brand new), but when I use an eGPU (msi rtx 4070 ventus 2x OC edition) with the dock, I get a hard freeze after 10-15 mins in game on lowest settings with all fancy stuff off. Only way out is to force shutdown and restart.

Here’s what i’ve tried so far but i’m running out of idea/patience and time honestly been at this for a while;

-Initially thought the GPU had an issue, got a new one, same problem

-Updated to latest drivers, rolled back to previous more stable nvidia drivers (DDU was used each time in safe mode)

-Updated windows 11 with 2H24 update, also tried a repair

-Disabled the iGPU in the device manager, went in the BIOS to set primary display on auto (it was on igfx, tried both ways in any case, same issue). At least I can now access the BIOS without having to replug the hdmi in the gti12… I havn’t updated the BIOS as it appears I have the latest (GTI12T201).

-Ran Furmark/Kombustor for 30 mins twice, without any visible issue (although i’m not an expert)

I have the same problem with my Gti14 and the ExDock + egpu (Asus RTX 4060 EVO OC). Bios Version is T202.

Does it work ? As soon as I am trying to use my egpu, the system is really really slow. Even the mouse cursor in Win11 is moving very very slow (like the system is producing 0-1 fps).
I cannot find the settings in my bios. I am in contact with the support team. Image description

    My suspicion is that the eGPU dock is either experiencing some connectivity or power issue, more so with the RTX 4070. My advice would be to check the power supply on the dock and make sure that it is powerful enough to support the power needs of the GPU. You also try to swap out a cable or port, and if you just so happen to have another computer around, plug the eGPU into another machine to rule out hardware compatibility as a factor.

          Nepster Hi there, does the PC work fine without the dock ?

          Similar issue with gti 14, dock and older GPU (GTX980). Monitors will randomly go dark a few times a day. The PC stays on but I have to restart the PC to get the monitors to come back on. Not related to heat (GPU runs at 48-51c). I followed instructions on the tutorial link but am still having the same issue. Any suggestions?

            CoBandit Hi,so you’ve changed the PCIe speed to Gen4,right?
            Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the main page, we will check if you need to update the BIOS.
