Cant use USB C Monitor and eGPU

Hi there, your BIOS is the latest one.
Please go to AMD website and download the auto-detect program. It will update some chipsets and video drivers automatically. It will identify and install appropriate drivers for their AMD hardware. The program works by scanning the user’s system to detect the installed AMD hardware components, such as graphics cards or processors. It then compares the detected hardware information with a database of AMD drivers and software versions.

Already done

Update all drivers include AMD Auto Detect Chipset
Update USB 4 Driver

Rear USB C cannot use external display or egpu

So, whats the solution?

USB4 at rear port not working
No configuration in BIOS to Enable or Disable USB 4. I saw another BIOS from another brand (Same chipset) have configuration in BIOS for USB 4, but there’s nothing in beelink Bios

Hi there, how about you send the item back for checking and repair ?
Please send email to support-pc@bee-link.com for the return address

I already sent an email.

So there is no workaround for this problem remotely?
I was serach about this problem, and I notice, many GTR7 owner have this problem too, their USB4 doesnt work. Its work before, but then its become not working.
Is that software or Bios related?

Hi there, it doesn’t necessarily have something to do with the software or BIOS.

Update :
After communicate via email with beelink, still no real solutions for this.
They ask me to send the unit and pay for all the shipping and repairs myself, which was too expensive for me since I was overseas.

So another dead end,,

Its really weird, because I have several mini pc older than beelink GTR7, and all USB4 works fine, but this unit USB4 does not work well, and the support service does not have a real solution for this problem, even though many GTR7 owners experience the same thing.
I am not buying this brand again.

This app, didnt make different,, still no detect egpu or usb c monitor.
*Thunderbolt is for Intel, not AMD.

The problem is not windows setting or windows driver. Its in 100% beelink BIOS.

I am also experiencing the same issue with the USB port on the back of my GTR-3550 not working properly.
Has this issue been resolved since then?

① Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, go to BIOS. On Save&Exit page, please click Restore defaults, press enter to confirm, then press F4 to save.
② Please try another operating system. What OS are you using now ?

I met the same issue. I’ve identified a significant limitation with the USB4 port on my GTR7.
The USB4 port appears to have
        insufficient or non-functional power
        delivery capabilities, resulting in
connection failures when devices are plugged in directly.
Currently when direct connections to the USB4 port with (USB storage, phones, eGPUs, etc. ) fail to be recognized by the system.
But the USB storage work perfectly
        when connected through a powered
USB Hub (I have not tried this on the dock)
I think the port is capable of data transfer but error property power delivery function. This can issue of bios

          Gemvn Hello there,

Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager—universal serial bus controller–USB hub—properties–power management—uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power”

I have tried to turn off this feature on all USB hub in the universal serial bus controller section, but it has no effect.

The USB4 port cannot recognize any devices even before entering Windows.
In addition to I have also tried connecting to the Dock through the Thunderbolt 3 port but was unsuccessful.

Another note is that both of 2 USB4 ports are always automatically checked after resetting the computer, although the remaining port is not.

Gemvn Did you reinstall the system before ?

That’s correct, I have reinstalled the Windows 11 operating system including chipset/graphic drivers for GTR7 Pro from the official website.
Everything works fine except for the connection on the USB4 port as described.
