I have a similar problem, and after reading this thread, I suspected a BIOS issue, but it turned out that updating the AMD drivers was the solution. Someone here supposedly wrote that it shouldn’t have any effect, since Intel—not AMD—is responsible for Thunderbolt. But as it turns out, it actually helped in my case.🤷
