I purchased 5 GTI 14 96GB mini PCs. I had a hard time installing linux on them, the installers for many distros would randomly crash and require a hard reset of the machine, sometimes a full power reset when the power button didn’t work. The crash would be the whole machine freezing.

I still have issues trying to get them to boot into linux, they will randomly freeze during or right after boot and require a hard reset. How can I resolve this. It seems to be firmware issues and is preventing me from using these PCs for their intended use.

@support1 any feedback on this?. This seems to be extremely common. The original poster had 5 such machines failing the same way. Mine is failing as well. There are a several people on the reddit thread facing the same issue as well.
In case it helps anything, my bios is T202, 96GB ram. Tried a bunch of different linux flavors, from ubuntu LTS, newer ubuntu, arch, etc. Now running arch, with kernel 6.13.5. It freezes. No error on kernel logs at the point of freezing, but when booting, getting the same kind of errors logged as the ones reported here https://bbs.bee-link.com/d/4550-gti14-bios-t108-linux-errors

@support1 I am also experiencing the same issue with Linux. I can’t install Bazzite, or CachyOS but I’ve also experimented with Ubuntu as well and the issue is the same. Can we please get a fix for this asap?

Hi there,

We will transfer this problem to our R&D, then get back to you later.

support1 can support please test bazzite and advise of a fix?

Hi there, please use Ubuntu 23.10,kernel Version Linux 6.5.0-9-generic.
For 24 version, we are still working on it.

support1 when can we expect a fix? Also, can you fix support for Bazzite? It seems that whatever is preventing Ubuntu 23 and 24 from working, is also blocking Bazzite from being installed. Please look into this and advise

      Thank you,
