Hello, so I guess the BIOS update solves the issue.

Anyway, I’m a bit confused with the info on how to proceed on “Beelink SER9 Pro AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370” with 32GB of RAM and serial number beginning with Y. Is there any need of usage of EoM.exe? As I see this in the “important notes” the info “4. EOM file usage instructions: For the V103.P8C0M0C15.73 version of SER9 Pro 365/HX370, please extract the EOM file to the desktop, right-click and run Eom.exe as an administrator, then restart your device.” but the document “SER9-V103_15_73_Y–Use-USB-to-flash-BIOS-Tutorial.docx” doesn’t contain any info about that, could please someone clarify? Thanks

If your machine is SER9 and the SN starts with B or Y, and there is a firmware protection problem, you can flash this BIOS.
And unzip the EOM file, execute EOM. Finally, restart.

How do I find if there is a firmware protection problem?

    So this approach is correct?

    1. flash the new bios
    2. execute eom.exe and reboot?

    Thanks

Generally speaking, a machine that is operating normally will not have firmware protection issues.
May i ask what’s the problem with your machine?
If you need to update this BIOS, we will give you the corresponding BIOS and tutorials.

support7 I installed the new AMD drivers on SER9 AI HX 370 and the Windows won’t start up, so I had to revert the driver, but I’m unable to install any driver now, it usually ends with windows unable to start normally(inifite loop when loading WIN)

Xorhawk (#14) here posted, that updating to the january BIOS solved the issue.

So now I’m trying to find exact way hot to do that and not to brick the PC.

        Hi there
        Your BIOS is the latest
Please try some solutions here :
        1.CLR CMOS
First, please unplug the power supply and HDMI cable.
Secondly, Please hit the “CLR CMOS” button/hole for about 10 seconds.
For some models the CMOS hole could be in the Audio port .
Please wait until 10 minutes later (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT),
Then plug the power supply and HDMI cable back in, turn on the PC again,
once turn on the PC, you will need more than one minute to wait for the PC to enter the system.
See if it works. Please try few more times.

2.(Please back up your important data)
        Reset System Steps:
Restart the device. When the circling appears, press the power button for 5 secs until the device shuts down.
Repeat this process two or three times.
When you see the repair page, choose Advanced options, Troubleshoot, Reset, and select Keep my files.

support4 Hello, I tried the suggestions, nothing helped, the same situation happens again and again :-(

Kawasaky What I did was to update my BIOS which serial number starts starts with “Y” to the January BIOS (V103.P8C0M0C15.73) using the USB Method described in the tutorial Link on the January BIOS update blog page, I could not find the EOM.exe in the download so I must assume that the note on the blog page is wrong so I followed the guide and used the USB Method.

          My BIOS went from
          SMBIOSBIOSVersion : STX.3xx.SER9.V103.P8C0M0C15.55.Link.GID.90
          To
          SMBIOSBIOSVersion : STX.3xx.SER9.V103.P8C0M0C15.73.Link.SCPC

          Hope this helps.

Xorhawk is definitely right, updating the BIOS solved the issue with the new AMD drivers!

Xorhawk Thank you very much for your help and answers.

              Kawasaky Thanks for your feedback.
