SER9 optimize TDP and RAM

Does anyone know how to increase the TDP from 54watt to 65watt? The product specs says it runs stable with 65watt but my SER9 is stuck in 54watt max. I’ve tried changing the mode in the BIOS from Balanced to Performance, but that didn’t change it in Windows.

It looks like the CPU cores also are maxing out at 4100 instead of 5100 when boosting. I think this is because I’m at 54w but if anyone could help with getting this max boost clock to 5100 that would be awesome.

Finally, is putting the RAM at 8000 perfectly safe? I see that option in the BIOS and I noticed the Beelink SER9 365 Pro runs at 8000 so curious about that.

I’m just looking for stable fastest performance, I don’t care about power draw.

how to increase TDP to 65w (Performance)?
is it ok to run the RAM at 8000 or is that only with SER9 Pro 365 version?

①Please clear CMOS and adjust TDP again according to the tutorial.

Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply, and press the CMOS button (if no CMOS button, please put the pin in the CMOS pinhole and press it ) for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes. ②You can set the RMA to 8000Mhz. This setting is only available for SER9 365.

I actually already did clear the CMOS with the pin, and I did the change in the BIOS to 65w as per the instructions, but unfortunately you can see in my screenshot that it’s not working for 65w in Windows. Cpu-Z reports max is 54w. And running CPU stress, the main cores are maxing around 4400 not 5100.

Is this a bug with the BIOS version .73?

Can you confirm the BIOS version to use? I noticed on your instructions for changing to 65w , it says for models serial starting “Y” or “C” but my model SN starts “B”.

Anything else to try?

①Your current BIOS version is the latest and you don’t need to update.
The tutorials for Ser9 machines with serial numbers starting with B or Y are the same.

well i was using CPU-Z which still says max tdp 54w, but then I ran HWMonitor and watched a cpu-z stress, HWMonitor is reporting up to 65w being consumed and I could briefly see cores spike to 5100.

So it appears that it is working properly and I guess CPU-Z is reporting wrong. ill do more testing and report back any issues or findings.

Hi,
I am trying to run SER9 from a true 100W USB-C power supply, but it randomly gets shot down during regular use. I have tried with multiple supplies and power banks, rated at 100W (20V@5A). I am running the PC in Balanced Mode. Is there any way to manually set TDP to a lower value in the BIOS (besides these two power profiles being available)?

Hi, I have already set it to Balanced Mode (54W), but the computer gets randomly shut down with a 100W USB-C power supply. Is there any way I could lower the TDP below 54W to prevent shut-downs?

Here are some potential solutions:
①Adjust power settings: Adjust the power settings on your PC to optimize performance and reduce heat generation. Lowering the maximum processor state or using power-saving modes can help.Go to control panel —power option—change to High performance— change plan setting—advanced setting —processor power management— change both 100% to 99% , click save.

②Adjust the “TDP Limit” and “STAPM Limit” parameters through Ryzen Controller. It is recommended to perform a step-by-step test (such as 50W→45W→40W).
