I’m surprised. I thought I was the only owner of a Beelink with such a peculiar defect. So as this is a recurring situation, it would be quite plausible for Beelink to pay special attention to us in order to try to solve our problem and, perhaps, improve the hardware of their new products. I’d even suggest sending my unit in (with a replacement, of course) to be checked out by the factory if that’s the case.
Could someone from Beelink support comment on this?

Although the defect is characterized as a hidden defect, which here in Brazil is covered by the Consumer Protection Code and does not establish a warranty deadline, support simply informed me that my unit is no longer covered by the 1-year warranty established from the date of purchase. I do not know if this is Beelink’s final position. It was definitely not what I expected.

    LaBenedetti Hi there, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but as you also mentioned in the first post, the warranty of your PC is expired. So if you send it back for repair, you need to cover the shipping cost and possible repair cost.

    Sorry if I wasn’t clear but in my first post I mentioned that the 12 month warranty had expired. But I had to reconsider it as a ‘hidden deffect’ as I realised there were other customers with the same problem.
    As for sending it back for repair, as long as the shipping and possible repair costs are compatible, it could be.
    How could we get an estimate beforehand? Where would this assessment, estimate and possible repair take place? Is there an authorised workshop here in Brazil?

      I am currently using the s12 pro model and I have the same problem. The monitor screen does not display on the first boot, and when I press the button to turn it off and then turn it on again, it works normally. I have to turn it on twice every time I use it. It seems to be a compatibility issue between the monitor and the main unit, and it seems that the bios needs to be updated to solve the problem. Even after updating to the latest bios version 106, the problem was not solved at all.

        Here are the possible solutions :
        ① Power - saving mode: Check if the monitor has any power - saving or sleep modes enabled that might be causing it to not display on the first boot. Disable such modes or set them to a longer timeout period.

        ② Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply and other USB devices, then put the pin in the CMOS pinhole and press it for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes.

        I’m currently using the msi mp243x monitor. I have several other PCs at home, and when I connect them to the monitor and test them, there are no problems at all. The problem only occurs on the s12 pro. I’ve already installed the latest version of the chipset driver and reset the coms several times. But the problem still persists. I think there’s a compatibility issue between the monitor and the s12.

          I brought an old monitor that I used before and tested it. When I used that monitor, the symptoms related to the s12 booting problem disappeared. After conducting several tests, I confirmed that when the s12 was connected to a monitor with a compatibility issue, the monitor did not simply not display the screen, but the main unit stopped booting. When connected to a monitor that had no issues, when I pressed the power button on the s12 that had completed booting, the device went into standby mode. However, when there was a compatibility issue with the monitor, the device did not boot. When I pressed the power button a second time, the device did not wake up from standby mode, but booted from the beginning. It seems that the s12 clearly has a compatibility issue related to booting with a specific monitor, and this issue seems to need to be resolved through a BIOS update.

            kimdt Hi there, sorry, there is no newer BIOS for this PC at the moment. How about you try antoher HDMI cable ?

            I tested it with 4 different HDMI cables at home, but the symptom did not improve at all. About 30 percent boot at once, and the remaining 70 percent do not boot at once and have to boot twice. This is quite annoying. There are users in Korea who have similar symptoms with various products using n100 cpu. They say that if they turn off the monitor completely, turn on the main unit, and then turn on the monitor again, the booting goes normally. It definitely seems that some products using n100 cpu have compatibility issues with specific monitors.

              Please press delete key as soon as you turn on the PC, so that you can go to BIOS. Please send us a picture of the Main page.
              We will check if you need to update the BIOS.

              I have already emailed beelink about this issue and they replied that my device has the latest version of bios (s12 pro n100 ADLNV106).
