I have a Beelink SER5. Here are the numbers from the case in case the photo is not available to you. 9Y.UP3190834B10; SN:Y58003CG30853; SER5 MAX-E-321TBEJ0W64PRO-DP/XA. The current BIOS shows version 5800H602 from 6/15/2023 13:49:16. On the files page, 5800H605_LK_20240906_2024-09-14_9-26-52.zip is available. Is this the latest BIOS for my machine and can I flash that file directly or do I need to incremently flash the previous 603 and 604 BIOS files first in order? Thanks.

Next,please take out one RAM and leave the other one in it to test if the RAM is defective or not. When testing, please turn on the PC, and wait about one minute, if you can go to the system, Please repeatedly press delete key as soon as your restart the PC, go to BIOS. Go to Boot option, enable fast boot, press F4 to save.

②Please update the BIOS. I have sent you the lastest BIOS file, please check your PM.

③Please change another power supply.

④Overheating. If your PC is overheating, please check if the fan spins. You can also turn off the turbo boost.

Go to control panel —power option—change to High performance— change plan setting—advanced setting —processor power management— change both 100% to 99% , click save.

⑤Update graphics driver: Please uninstall the graphic driver in the device manager and install the new one.

While investigating random crashes in Windows lately, I found this in EVent Viewer:
Secure Boot CA/keys need to be updated. This device signature information is included here.
And now:
Pre-attestation health checks confirm a critical component has failed, and the device is not expected to pass attestation.
I guess I need a BIOS update I have : FP655U505 (11/21/2022)

Can you please provide a link to and documentation for upgrading bios for my ser5 max.
The fan is often very loud, even when the computer is basically under no load, and cpu temperature is quite low.
Possibly related or not: when moving the mouse it often causes short freezes or stuttering.
This makes using the device a very annoying experience.
I hope some of the issues get resolved by updating the bios.

Beelink CS-June May I ask if your machine still crashes after updating the BIOS？

The BIOS upgrade did not solve the random crashes. However I believe I found out what is happening: I’m running Proxmox VE (Debian Linux) and it was crashing every ~ 4 hours. The issue seems to be with a Ryzen C-state power management issue with the Linux kernel that’s affecting Ryzen 7 6800U. I have disabled the Global C-state Control in the BIOS (under Advanced > AMD CBS > CPU Common Options > Global C-state Control) and so far is has been more than 24 hours since I last saw a crash, which is my record. I’m still keeping an eye and investigating the issue so I can try to re-enable and tweak the C-state (as with the C-state disabled, the power consumption and thermals went up).
