I just got an EQi 12: i3-1220p/16gb/500gb (I upgraded the Ram to 32gb with cards I already have, and the NVME to a 2tb) and its giving quite a few problems. I posted this in another thread, so I’ll be grateful for support when/where ever it comes.

First, I have two Unknown/Other/No Driver hardware devices that are not getting their drivers installed. I have updated to the newest chipset, and updated all the drivers I could find. The first unknow device says it a PCI Data and Acquisition and signal Processing controller; this is the Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_461D&SUBSYS_72708086&REV_04

The 2nd Unknow is Unknown with Hardware ID: ACPI\INTC1041\IETM

The biggest issue I am currently having with this machine is:
that the PC has been having issues keeping a 4-bay disk caddy connected. I currently have it connected to the front USB-C port; seems stable when using USB3.1 and lower cables. The caddy registered instantly on my pervious SEi 10

Included S/N to hopefully help.

support11 also for 1. Steps, I do not see an option for an “ACPI controller” under standard sys devices I have ACPI Devices driver, fan, fixed feature button, lid, module device, power button, processor aggregator, processor container device, sleep button, thermal zone, and wake alarm.
Those are all the ACPI related drivers I see following these directions.

support11 After looking further, the closest thing I found to ACPI controller was “Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller” I have not installed this yet though, because I am unsure if this is correct or not.

No idea if the F001 part of the version above means that it’s version 001 in relation to some 004, 005 and 006 files/folders on that shared drive. There’s a mixture of zip and rar archives there with seemingly random file names, it’s really not well maintained. Can this be cleaned up with dates and version codes in their names, perhaps?

The PC seems to be having troubles after restarting from Proxmox VE web interface - there’s no HDMI output and nothing shows up, the only way to bring it back is to do a full power cycle.

Additionally, the Proxmox VE restart issue seems to be resolved by adding reboot=efi. First, open the file

nano /etc/default/grub

Then change the following line from

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet"

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet reboot=efi"

Ctrl+X to save, return to confirm. Then regenerate grub configuration and reboot with

update-grub
reboot

And with some luck, this might be the last time that a full power cycle is required.

I own a Beelink EQR6 mini PC equipped with a Ryzen 9 6900HX processor.
The current BIOS version installed on my device is:

American Megatrends International, LLC. FP7T107, dated 09/08/2024

I have noticed that recent BIOS updates (such as version EQR32002) only mention support for models with Ryzen 5 6600U and Ryzen 7 6800U.
Could you please confirm Is there a newer BIOS version available specifically for the EQR6 with Ryzen 9 6900HX?
If not, do you plan to release an updated version in the near future?

I want to make sure I don’t install an incompatible BIOS version. Thank you for your support.
