~~For some reason my Multimedia Audio Controller can’t find a driver~~. My SN is BN1506GH70145 and I have a MiniS13. ~~According to the internet, the hardware ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_54C8 identifies the Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel SST) BUS, can’t seem to find a driver for it in all the driver download zips.~~

I was able to find the correct driver through windows update catalog, but I’m still now having issues with Intel High Definition Audio. Hardware ID:
INTELAUDIO\FUNC01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0897&SUBSYS_10EC0000.

My SER5 Pro (BIOS SER5H512) has developed very slow boot times. A cold boot takes about 8 minutes and 15 seconds. The SSD health is good, SMART is clean, sfc /scannow and DISM both completed without errors, and startup programs are minimal.

Beelink support provided a BIOS update package containing SER5H516.bin, AfuEfix64.efi, and flash.nsh. The original instructions referenced startup.nsh, but the package only contains flash.nsh. I was able to boot from USB into the UEFI shell, switch to fs3:, and run flash.nsh.

That gave me the error “Rom image layout detected Rom Hole is redesigned.”

Beelink support via email is now telling me to reinstall Windows which sounds like someone is reading from a script instead of really looking into the issue. Windows is running fine.

Has anyone with a SER5H512 system seen this error before? Does SER5H516.bin sound like the correct BIOS for this model, or could this be the wrong BIOS package? Any suggestions?

Regarding the error message “ROM image layout detected, ROM Hole is redesigned” during BIOS version 516 updates, we have reported this to the relevant development team.

We are awaiting an update from the development team.

Hello!

I recently ran some updates, but was also doing setup of Docker, WSL, & Hyper-V to run a service. Since, I’ve been having issues with both of the Ethernet ports on my EQi12, I can visually see the lights on and then turning off and back on, this coincides with unstable / no network connectivity. I tried an Ethernet to USB-C adapter and that connection works fine. I’ve tried disabling some of the power efficiency items on the Realtek drivers and reverting the chipset to one of the downloads found here with no luck.

In event Viewer I’m seeing: The network driver detected that its hardware “Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller” has stopped responding to commands and initiated a reset. This is not a driver failure and does not indicate a problem with your network device.
