I have a SER5 5600H with BIOS 1.16_P4C7M43_Blink
I have problem updating my microcode in Linux, it always worked fine but now I have error.
It may be because the microcodes introduced in early 2025 cannot be loaded without a BIOS version that explicitly addresses the signature verification vulnerability (CVE-2024-56161). My BIOS does not include the necessary patches, the system will fail to apply the microcode update.
Using the old microcode version 0×0a500011 is the latest working one with the unpatched BIOS. I cannot use latest version 0×0a500014.
Please fix the BIOS, thanks.
