Speakers for the SER8?

Using SER8. Couldn’t get speakers to work. Did everything I could. I set RealTek to default, switched audio devices left and round, but nothing. Device specs for the SER8 down below. Any tips?

Hello there,

Could you please send us a picture of SN code at the bottom of machine ?

Here are some solutions:
1.Please right click window–click “”setting“—Sound—-more sound setting –click “playback”–right click speaker—properties–controller information —properties—update the driver. You also need to check if the speakers is disabled or not in the playback setting.

Please uninstall the audio driver in the device manager and install the new one.

Please turn off the PC , unplug the power supply, and press the CMOS button (or put the pin into the CMOS pinhole and press it ) for about 10 seconds , restart the PC after ten minutes. I have a SER8 8875HS and I have the same issue.
I did all the recommendations from above but still no sound.

Should I send the SN Code at the bottom of the machine ?

Could you please provide a picture of the bottom of your machine with the SN code? Did you try to reset the CMOS following the steps we provided?

Have you tried updating the driver? Please provide us with the SN and we will send you a link to the driver for your machine.

Here is a screenshot of the device management. In blue the audio controller part and in red the speaker part.
None of them got an exclamation point.

Hi,

I realised today that the SER8 doen’t have builtin internal speaker, it’s the SER9 who have those.
I Think that the similar design fools me.
So the external speaker, plugged to the jacks, are working well, everything is fine.
