SER8 8845HS : "usb6-port1: Cannot enable" message on linux

Hi,
I have a SER8 8845HS, and I tried to install linux on it.
Every linux distribution I tested (manjaro, kubuntu, popos, budgie, etc.) there is a message at startup which continue endlessly in dmesg :

“usb6-port1: Cannot enable. Maybe the USB cable is bad?”

I tried to unplug the stuffs plugged on the usb ports used, but they are not the usb6 one :(

Which port is the USB6 ?
And did you already know about this error ?

Hi,

I think I found the culprit.
I have plugged a USB C hub from HP on the back USB C, so I can have 2 more monitors.

When It’s plugged, I have those messages.
When it isn’t i don’t have those messages.

So I think that the problem is with this USB C hub, not with the SER8.

Please send us a picture of SN on the bottom of the PC and a picture of the main BIOS page of your machine.
We will determine if you need to update your BIOS.

Please uncheck the save energy in the device manager—universal serial bus controller–USB hub—properties–power management—uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power”

Your current BIOS version is the latest and you don’t need to update.

Since there is only one user for this post.You can delete the entire content of a post yourself.
