My EX Dock has connections for two 8-pin power cords and my Radeon 7900 XTX has connections for three 8-pin power cords. The Beelink web page for the EX Dock says “The docking station features two 8-pin power connectors. If your graphics card requires 3× 8-pin connectors, you may need an 8-pin to dual 8-pin adapter cable.” How do I make this work safely? Corsair says the use of their pigtail cables may burn out non-Corsair PSUs and connected GPUs. Is it safe to use just two 8-pin power cords and leave vacant the third 8-pin slot of the 7900 XTX? Or do I need to use a pigtail power cord to use all three 8-pin power slots of the 7900 XTX? If so, what specific brand and model of 8-pin to dual 8-pin adapter cable is safe to use to connect my EX Dock and Radeon 7900 XTX?
