Beelink SER4 nvme suddenly stopped working

I started a download on my almost 3 year old beelink ser4 and noticed it stopped working. The NVME drive won’t show up in the bios. Put it in an NVME cage and connected it to my laptop and the drive still works. Put another NVME drive in the beelink and got the same issue. No NVME drive is found in the bios.

Broken drives i’ve seen many times, but this time is looks like the NVME slot on the motherboard is broken. Or is there anything else i can try?

Please send us a picture of SN on the bottom of the PC.

Please take out the SSD and reset it securely.

Please provide a picture of the NVME slot on the motherboard of your machine.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to sent you the pictures, but they can only be 120kb large. Not very clear to see the items.

I had an acronis backup of the drive, put that on an SATA SSD. That is a workarround. But the problem is still the same. No NVME can be found. It works great in an enclosure, but no longer in my Beelink SER4

May I ask which country you are in at present？

If none of our solutions work, we suggest you take your machine to your local repair shop.

Or you can consider sending the machine back to China for repair, but since your machine is no longer within the warranty period, you need to pay the corresponding maintenance costs and freight, is that acceptable to you?

I live in Belgium. Bought this item on amazon.fr

No nvme found on the beelink (tested it with 2 drives), the yboth work normally in an nvme cage. I got it working again with a Sata SSD.

No idea if sending this to china is a good solution.

What do you mean with a local repair? I don’t think it is possible to fix a broken nvme slot on a mainboard without replacing the complete mainboard. No idea if they are sold seperatly.

Will get in contact with both the after sales in china as the amazon seller.

Local repair means: you need to take the machine to a local repair shop for repair.

Some motherboards can be sold separately, which is about a few hundred dollars.
