I have a GT-King Pro (SN: 6B9HH2GG50065). After flashing the official 927P0 firmware using the USB Burning Tool, I lost Widevine L1 support and the device is now only showing Widevine L3.

I believe the issue occurred because the “Full Erase” option wiped the DRM keys, possibly from the tee/persist partition.
Could you please advise if there is:
A special recovery image for this device/serial number, or
A method to re-inject or restore the original DRM keys for this unit?

Edo Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, once the Widevine L1 keys are erased by the “Full Erase” operation during firmware flashing, they cannot be restored or re-injected on the user end. These keys are unique to your device and stored in the secure partition, and there is no special recovery image or method to recover them after being wiped.

As a result, the device will only support Widevine L3 from now on, and there is no way to revert it back to L1.

I managed to install ARMbian (Trixxie Debian).

I downloaded the img file here (Choose the good asset you want as Trixxie or Resolute etc… from assets) :

In my case i took the S922x Rev A Trixxie (For Serial 922HH…). Flashed it on a SD Card Or Usb Key with Rufus. And i powered the GT-King Pro with the pinhole pushed in during about 6 secondes.

It booted on Armbian, and i choosed the good DTB ( for my case “reva” REV A ).

Don’t need anymore to use the pinhole as you insert a bootable usb or sd card inside the GT-King.

Not bad as a little desktop Linux PC with a lightweight desktop environnement (XFCE or Mate).

Flashing with a Programmer: Simply flash the file CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2.6-Generic.img.
Firmware Flashing (Typically via Batch Programming with a Flasher, No Computer-Based Flashing Required):
Insert the TF/SD card into a card reader, then connect the card reader to a computer’s USB port.
Launch the rufus-3.8.exe application.
The TF/SD card will be listed under the “Device” section in the interface; select the target device for flashing.
Click the “Select” button to import the CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-9.2.6-Generic.img firmware.
Click the “Start” button, then select “OK” in the pop-up confirmation window to initiate flashing.
The flashing process is complete once the progress bar reaches 100%.

Upgrading to the latest firmware will erase both the software and L1, and it will be impossible to flash the encrypted files on L1 again.

Regarding the two erasures you mentioned, could you please provide a screenshot to help us better understand the situation?
