AB31 I had the V07 installed since the end of 2024 and had issues since. Very often from cold boot Windows would start with a white screen. Cursor moved but couldn’t do anything. Nothing I tried helped. Also since installing the 07 version a continuous annoying sound came from the SER7. Not the fan but really coming from the electronics. The sound was like a hiss and it changed depending on the activity of the machine. I’ve lived with it for quite a long time, tried to downgrade before but didn’t dare to do a forced ‘recovery’ downgrade (the standard V38 update package did not allow me to downgrade) but today I decided to try again and was succesful. Right after the downgrade the noise from the SER7 is gone and so far I’ve not seen any white screen issue so hope that’s solved as well.
LanderX Hi, two questions… first, does the SER7 supports the new 64GB sodimm modules, for 128GB RAM? Second, could you please provide me a link to the most updated bios? Here is the label at the bottom of my unit: Thank you in advance, and kind regards! HL
