Hello, I’m using a Beelink SER7 Pro mini PC with the AMD 6800U processor and 32GB of DDR5 dual-channel RAM. Here are my BIOS details: BIOS: American Megatrends 5.24 UEFI: 2.8; PI 1.7 BIOS Version: ASE32 0.01 X64 Bottom Version: 2.22.1293 Serial Number: B68005HG21071 I’ve been monitoring temperatures and TDP with HWInfo. Temperatures remain within normal ranges, but the TDP is consistently capped at 18W, which significantly limits performance. This is causing noticeable FPS drops in games with no other apparent cause. I’ve also confirmed that no battery (real or phantom) is detected, so the TDP limit appears to be imposed by the BIOS or firmware. Additionally, I’ve seen other users with the exact same PC model achieving much better performance, so I believe this limitation can be lifted. Could you please advise if there is an unlocked or updated BIOS version available to remove this restriction and allow the CPU to run at its full performance? Thank you very much for your support.

Sorry. There’s currently no BIOS update available to eliminate the 18W TDP limit.

Your machine’s TDP fluctuates between 15-28W.

You can set high performance in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options.

Hi support, it’s been aknowledge that there is a problem with the BIOS when we use combined GPU+CPU and TDP not going over 15w/18w TDP. You are capping the cpu almost to half of the performance. Please provide us with a fix. Thanks

Beelink CS-Bettie Any AAA game or emulator returns the same result. Also If you run at the same time any CPU Stress Test of your liking and a GPU stress test of your liking you will get the same results. Anytime the iGPU goes over 5W TDP to a max of 9W TDP the CPU goes to around 6TDP. It’s because you are limiting low level on BIOS to a combined igpu+cpu TDP to 15W (the minimum of the AMD Spec). I remind you, that this it’s not a notebook so energy management to provide longer battery it’s not an issue

This is not acceptable, it’s false advertisement which is illegal in germany!

I bought the Ser5 Max 6800h because of it’s gaming power. Limiting the chip to 28W means I can not use the power you are advertising. The Chip needs 45W, PERIOD. With 28W it can’t even handle WOW on lowest settings, ridiculous!

I will wait 3 days, if the Beelink team continues to ignore the problem I will send the product back and inform Amazon about this clearly false advertisement.

Also, the Sermax 6800’s maximum TDP is 28W. This is primarily for quiet operation and stable performance. This machine is intended for office use, not gaming.

I have the Ser5 Max with 6800 H, not 6800 U.
This chip NEEDS 45W to work, with 28W he can NOT reach the power you are advertising. This is false advertising and NOT acceptable, in fact it is illegal and I will report it if you don’t fix this today.
