I recently purchased a ME Mini. After setting up the computer, I went through the process of adding additional NVME drives. After rebooting the ME Mini, the computer froze once Windows started. I have tried multiple times in slightly different configurations with the same result. I tried with two formatted SSD’s. I tried with two unformatted SSD’s. I also tried with a single SSD formatted and unformatted. I looked at the BIOS to see if there was a setting that might be affecting this, but saw nothing. Any ideas would be helpful.
Addendum: I failed to add in my original post the NVME SSD’s are new 2TB Silicon Power M.2 PCIe Gen 4×4, Model UD90
2nd Addendum: Additional Info - BIOS is AMI Version M1V304. I also tried the SSD’s in slots 1 & 2 and then in slots 5 & 6. When I look at the NVME Configuration in the BIOS, the two additional drives are identified. I am running Windows 11 Home on a Western Digital 512GB NVME SSD in slot 4.
Update: I updated the BIOS from M1V304 to M1V305. Nothing changed. The computer still freezes when it boots into Windows. If I remove the additional drives, the computer boots into Windows with no problems.
