You can install the system on an external USB/SSD/NVME and boot there.
Use USB hub with external power brick to use less power from the Me Mini so it has this power for it’s own needs.
Then use all 6 NVME drives for your RAID or RaidZ pool.
Or use internal EMMC for the system, witch will degrade because system write often logs and other files and EMMC is not very durable.
Unraid for example loads to RAM so it should not degarde EMMC or USB drive so fast.
But because i have NVME random disconnects problem i stick to Windows, no RAID,
and stop start my Beelink Me Mini every 2 days (when a drive drops).
Hope Beelink will do it’s own tests with recent 4tb drives (like Crucial T500 4tb drives) and identify root cause and publish a BIOS fix and/or linux/windows drivers fix and/or SSD firmware fix with help from Crucial/Physon (Crucial sells the T500 drive, Physon sells E25 controller for T500 drive and probably ships the firmware for the drive).
The disconnect problem is that the SSD drive is put into sleep mode (D3cold state) by the system and never wake up (back to D0 state) until full stop + start of the Me Mini (simple reboot does not fix this, you have to shut down the device then wait few seconds than start).
Could be BIOS bug, system drivers bug, SSD firmware bug or both 3, or hardware problem (only Beelink/Crucial/Physon engeneers can debug/fix this).
