Can't install 2nd SSD because screw to hold it down is frozen

I attempted to install a second SSD in my SER8 8745 and got all the way to the point where I needed to remove the screw that will hold down the end of the SSD. (See screw circled in red.) The screw is frozen in place. I have applied as much force as I could without stripping the phillips x-pattern, but I have been unable to turn the screw. If I cannot remove the screw, I cannot install the second SSD. What do you recommend? Image description

You can place a rubber band over the screw head and press the band with your screwdriver while twisting. The rubber band increases friction between the screwdriver and the screw head, preventing slippage and aiding in unscrewing the screw.

You can also use strong tape, such as electrical tape, to cover the screw head and then insert the screwdriver and try to turn it.

If you still can’t unscrew it, you can try to seek help from a nearby repair shop.

SOLVED by using better tools. I didn’t try the rubber band or electrical tape approach, but they might have worked. Thank you to Beelink CS-Rose for those suggestions.

What worked for me was using a more robust Phillips No. 0 screwdriver instead of the one that came in a little electronics repair kit. Once I got the screw to loosen just a bit, I used needlenose pliers to rotate it. See picture. Image description The screwdriver that was unable to loosen the screw is in the middle.
