GTR 9 Pro Ethernet Malfunction under load

In order to utilize GTR Pro full potential for AI applications, I’m required to install Ubuntu 24.04 along with AMD ROCm (which is not supported on windows 11). After installing Ubuntu, I noticed a recurring problem with the built in ethernet adapters. Whenever the computer encounters load on the GPU, the ethernet card would crash and the only way to get it to work again is to unplug my machine from power. It seems that other users of GTR Pro are also experiencing this issue: https://community.intel.com/t5/Ethernet-Products/Intel-Ethernet-Controller-E610-Firmware-Recovery-Mode-Under-Load/td-p/1719424 Linux Kernel is 24.04c oem as required by ROCm Things I’ve tried: Installing the ubuntu LAN driver version 6.0.6 provided in the beelink driver package - fails under ubuntu 24.04 Installing the latest LAN driver from Intel website - The ethernet card still crashes Installing an older version (6.1.4) - The ethernet card still crashes. Please advise as this makes the machine unusable as a server under Linux. It happens on gaming distributions such as Bazzite, as well.

@Beelink CS-Ian Chan I did my part and got the machine back to US warehouse on 4/22/26, confirmed received while stock was still available, you sent all of the stock out, did not save me anything, told me new stock is coming this week, still no confirmation and clear ETA of when you will ship the replacement, despite a thread of 43 emails deep… what is going on over there and when are you going to get me the replacement you have promised? This does not make sense, and I need a solution. You say you will handle the case ASAP, but what you are doing is the exact opposite of that.

I have bought four dgx sparks. And have four gtr9 pros doing nothing. They didnt want me to send the units back, all I asked I bought four send me the new ones and I will send you the broken ones back, my trust has been damaged, I had them working with an usb adapter but I bought them for the internal 10gbe ports since I require huge datatransfer between them. Very very bad service from them, no update will work, no firmware can solve this issue. It is a board design issue. And they will lie, twist and run around it. And no beelink chan f… off please, your service desk has my email and my home address, send four working units with a return label and I will send the broken ones back. Google will Index this post and will put it on every social channel I know and remove until you have replaced every unit for me and the others here on this forum. No lies, just admit it is a board design (power delivery) problem, and replace them. No excuses, you are embarrassing yourself. I was lenient and in another post I provided temporarily solutions, but this behavior and updating firmware and turning off and on in the bios does not solve anything. Do right to your customers!

I’m thinking that “working on a firmware fix” is code for “wait for Intel to release new NVM updates and hope they fix it” while actually no BIOS, no AGESA updates, and a setup tool that still talks about demo boards make any moves to being updated.
The problem is, that with Gorgon Halo just around the corner, will anyone trust that that one from Beelink will work properly and get the AGESA security fixes and stability out of the box when the Strix Halo one has had basically a list of excuses?

Meanwhile… A new Firmware and Driver were relased on 2026-05-26 for the Intel® Ethernet E610 Series NIC:

Firmware: v1.60 Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) Update Package for Intel® Ethernet E610 Series;
Driver: v31.2 Intel® Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack;

Hi All, haven’t visit this forum and followup on this thread for several months. It seems the 10G LAN issue still pending for fix.

I haven’t update any BIOS/NVM/drivers since I received GPR9-Pro last Oct.

May I know what is the latest driver/BIOS/NVM if I want to update them now? Any procedures / guides? Thanks!

The latest NVM/drivers did not solve the Intel ethernet crash for me. Same as previously. Start a game, play for a little bit and then hard crash.

Still waiting on BeeLink to provide the software fix.-

Galen You need to know which GTR9 Pro revision is yours, the original GTR9 Pro v1.0 (Intel E610-XT2 NIC, BIOS vP### series) or the latest GTR9 Pro v2.2 (Realtek RT8127 NIC, BIOS vPR## series). Check your GTR9 Pro’s NIC chipset or its current BIOS series version to differentiate them. At the time of this writing:

GTR9 Pro v1.0 - latest BIOS vP110;
GTR9 Pro v2.2 - latest BIOS vPR07;

All GTR9 Pro BIOS update files can usually be found here. In doubt always best to contact Beelink support via email: support-pc@bee-link.com with your GTR9 Pro’s serial number.

The GTR9 Pro v2.2 started to appear only from late Feb 2026. I guess that if your unit is “from October” 2025 it should be the GTR9 Pro v1.0 so you should also get the latest Intel NIC Drivers and NVM Firmware updates mentioned here.

Hi everyone! Not related with the Intel NIC issues but I just noticed the release of the latest BIOS GTRP112 for the GTR9 Pro v1.0. I updated successfuly my GTR9 Pro v1.0 with it and noticed the following updates for the AGESA™ (AMD Generic Encapsulated System Architecture) and CPU microcode (uCode) versions: (read all about it on my comment here). ✅

Hi to everybody,
i updated to the latest Intel Firmware 1.60 and the latest driver and it seems to run without any trouble, up to now.
Yesterday i updated to the latest Bios GTR112 and the RDSEED32 Problem is solved now, but:

The ACPI-issue, which was solved by the Bios GTR110, is back again!!!

After my machine wake up from Standby after a longer time, the issue is still there again and
my machine run with high er fan speed and don’throttle down.
Do I need to enable the ACPI function in the BIOS to solve these issue?

Achimd1 Hi! Could you please remind us what exactly are the ACPI issues you are finding? Is there a thread about it for the GTR9 Pro? Are you referring to the CPU Power Sleep States support discussed here and the ability to put the GTR9 Pro into Sleep (Standby) power state?

If so, I can confirme I just tested to put the GTR9 Pro to Sleep and it entered the Sleep (Standby S2) state and recovered from it without any issues. But yes, the FANs kept working all the way (but at low speed/RPM) and never stopped working. Not sure if this is an issue. Anyway, probably best to bring that discussion to that thread.
