It has been 3 times already that the SER8-8745 crashes when waking up.
I do not see a BSOD. There is no minidump file generated.
As soon as I hit the mouse or the keyboard, I see the screen searching for a signal, then I see the computer boot- but it was not off - it was on, so the crash is related to the wake event.
Any clues?
There is the obvious event:
“The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.”
Other things I noticed in the event viewer:
a multitude of events with source “Netwtw10”:
“7025 - Dump after return from D3 before cmd ” followed by
“7026 - Dump after return from D3 after cmd”

The following sleep states are not available on this system:
Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
This standby state is disabled when S0 low power idle is supported.
Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
This standby state is disabled when S0 low power idle is supported.
Standby (S3)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.
This standby state is disabled when S0 low power idle is supported.
The current Device Guard configuration has disabled this standby state.
Hybrid Sleep
Standby (S3) is not available.
The hypervisor does not support this standby state.
