Hi,
Following an OEM SSD failure, I reset BIOS to factory defaults, upgraded to T110, and replaced the SSD with a Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD 2TB.
Now the fan will ramp up and down at regular intervals. I think this correlates with brief spikes in CPU core temp, though there is no CPU loading.
Could this be related to a BIOS setting? Is it a known issue with T110? Or some compatibility issue with the new SSD?
I’m running Linux 6.16.10.
