GTi14 Ultra 185h - Crashing during gaming

I just got the Beelink GTi14 Ultra with 185h processor, activated my Windows account and installed some software, including 2 games (Stellaris and Satisfactory) from steam.

During testing, both games crashed within 5 minutes of playing. I insisted and noticed instead of a crash, freezes also may happen. I could not progress playing the games.

I decided to do some benchmarks with Geekbench 6 and it runs fine, no crashes or freezes so far, with scores comparable to the ones published in Geekbench.

I downloaded memtest86 to do some tests and noticed several errors and freezes. I did follow some advice given in this forum to another user regarding RAM testing. I also tested the same memory sticks in another PC and noticed memory is fine, all tests passing without errors.

I did some troubleshooting and noticed the original bios version was outdated. Original BIOS version as GTi14T104, build date and time 08/12/2024 10:57:51. I upgraded to the latest BIOS available to download, GTi14T105, build date and time 09/04/2024 09:17:37. However, even with the latest BIOS the mini PC is still crashing when gaming. Memtest86 is still finding errors and freezes. Bios settings are default.

Considering the above, I believe the issue is in the mini pc itself.

Did anyone else noticed this issue in memtest86?

Could support please help to solve this issue?

2.Monitor Temperatures: Overheating can cause games to crash or freeze. Use a software utility to monitor the CPU and GPU temperatures during gaming. If the temperatures are too high, it could indicate a problem with the mini - PC’s cooling system. You might need to ensure proper ventilation or check if the cooling fans are working correctly.
3.Test Other Games: Try running other games that have different system requirements to see if the crashing and freezing issues are specific to the two games you’ve tested or a more general problem with gaming on this mini - PC. If other games work fine, it could suggest that the issue lies with the specific games’ configurations or compatibility with the mini - PC’s hardware.
