Hello,
I’ve been having the same issue as Esteban. Random shutdown/restarts that also shows in the logs as critical kernel power error. Seems to be every few days when under little strain, but if I do something more intensive, it would often trigger the restart.
Initially I had this on BIOS version ASE32001 and do a fresh install of Windows didn’t seem to help. After the fresh install, I used AMD’s auto detect installer to install the CPU/GPU and Chipset drivers. Was a little more stable than before, but only slightly.
I then updated to ASE32004. I was then getting constant restarts. Almost any task would trigger this. I was able to stagger through to uninstall the AMD drivers and install the ones linked above https://url.bee-link.cn/UX3B but this also has not helped. I note that these seem to be quite old compared to the ones AMD supply.
I then tried ASE32003 and I think this was even worse.
I have since rolled back to ASE32001 and I’m back to having the more occasional shutdown/restarts as I was originally. At least the system is mostly usable with this version, but currently I’m not really doing anything too intensive, but this will chance, and I need it to be able to perform these tasks.
Do you have any other suggestions on what to try? Unfortunately I do not have another power supply to test with to confirm if that’s the issue or not.
Thanks
