The system hangs at boot most of the time, or it will hang after I log into the OS (which I finally managed to get installed). Hello, Ian. I have already installed Ubuntu Desktop 25.02. There is no way for me to follow your instructions. I have installed the latest firmware version provided in your BIOS section for this model. As I posted before: BIOS: SEi14T203 SERIAL: B185H5DG50047 You will see the BIOS before I upgraded it. The bottom of the system showing the serial number and the BIOS version after I upgraded it. I have reset the BIOS with no joy. Thanks for your help.

Are you joking? You want me to remove parts and add my own hardware? I think a refund is what I want. If you can not satisfy that, I will be glad to write/record a review on my social platforms. This is an obvious problem with your hardware as stated in other forum posts.

Look, I have already had issues with another systems and had to spend $40 US to send it to your warehouse here in the states. Becuase you refused to let me use USPS. Which would have been signifigantly cheaper. Only for you to send it back to me using USPS. The system was not doing this with Windows OS prior to me switching to Ubuntu Desktop. So, if you want to send me a FedEx lable to send it back for warranty repair. Let’s go! Otherwise, send me some RAM and a NVME to swap and we can test it. I do not think I am being unreasonable, considering the problems I have had with 2 of your systems now.

The SSD that is in the device is working. I can load Windows 11 back on the device and it runs fine. I only have this anomoly when I try to load any Linux OS. Ubuntu, RHEL, Proxmox, etc..

Also, you keep stating “ within warranty” This system falls well in the arena of warranty. I would like to stop the back and forth nonesense and your lack of “warranty” talk. I want a full refund. I will be contacting Amazon.

Everything has been pretty smooth up until the last few days. I am at least once a day now getting a lockup and having to hard reset the system. While I am running quite a few tabs and applications, (ollama, firefox with n8n and open webui… many tabs) it should not lock up.

Do you have any firmware upgrades since the last one you sent me?

Good morning, Ian. Maybe you forget, I am running Linux? Hence the topic of this discussion. At this time it has been running without issues. But, I foresee it popping back up again when I get the right mix of things brewing. (apps, prefs..) I think it may be Discord/Firefox issue. I will keep you posted if it continues.
