Based on this thread, it looks like Linux support for the SER9 has improved significantly in recent months. Here’s my experience running Linux on the SER9:
Recently purchased the SER9 AI HX 370 with 64 GB RAM and a 2 TB SSD
- Installed Arch Linux
- Running kernel version 6.15.7
- No dual boot setup
- System is stable. No random reboots, graphics acceleration works
However, I’m encountering issues with system suspension:
- The system attempts to suspend, but usually wakes up again within 5 seconds (if it suspends at all)
- After resuming, both Wi-Fi and Ethernet stop working and can’t be restored without a reboot
- Occasionally, Wi-Fi doesn’t work even after rebooting - only a full power-off (or possibly unplugging the PSU?) restores connectivity
Logs indicate both network interfaces fail to recover after suspension
Has anyone managed to get suspend working reliably and restore networking afterward? Is someone elsewhere working on this?
